Joanna Junak: You have participated in several sessions. Which was the most interesting for you?
00:00:15 --> 00:00:50
Michael Landl: I have to admit I'm a fanboy of Ethan Nadelmann, so everywhere where he is included, I already like it. Because he's so inspirational and with his experience, obviously always nice to hear him. But in general, I think the main positive thing about the whole conference is that it brings the community together and people talk to each other in real life about their experiences in different countries. And most of the times you find out, oh, we're all dealing with the same problems and can learn which strategies work. So overall, I think, great conference.
00:00:51 --> 00:00:52
Joanna Junak: Right. Thank you so much.
00:00:52 --> 00:00:52
Michael Landl: Thank you.
00:00:54 --> 00:01:54
Jarkyn Shadymanova: So right now there was a session about regulation and I loved it because I think one of the important parts of tobacco harm reduction is regulation, not prohibition. Here the motif of this conference is not prohibit but regulate it. Because most of them are talking about when you prohibit you will get black market, grey market and you will not be able to control, you will have fake products, which are more, you know, making harm than good. So that is why I love this session when they are talking about different approaches for regulation. So, and then they care about the consumers because all, you know, everything about the consumers, because those who are consuming tobacco, different types of the tobacco are the consumers. And then I guess when politicians talk, most of the time they actually use top-down approach and ignore this, you know, bottom, let's say, up where the consumer is. And so that is why I like this session a lot.
00:01:55 --> 00:02:43
Pranay Ratna Sakya: Yesterday, there were two sessions which I liked. One in, I can't remember his name, I think he was from Spain, in the Science Lab. His session, that one, I liked it very much. And the thing which was the keynote speaker, yesterday's first keynote speaker was really good and today's the first keynote speaker in this one his was also very informative and and down to the point like saying that vaping and heat-not-burn products are much more better than the normal smoking which would have a distinctive change in the life and the lifestyle of smokers.
