Law graduate from Intercontinental University with a Master’s degree in Law from UNAM and currently a doctoral student at UNAM. He is a tenured professor of Philosophy of Law at UNAM and teaches Legal Argumentation at La Salle University and Contemporary Legal Systems in UNAM’s Postgraduate Division. An expert in individual freedom rights, he is also a practicing lawyer. Author of The Concept of Harm Reduction and Human Rights, he is a recognized voice in national debates on human rights and nicotine alternatives. He has been a guest speaker in the Federal Chamber of Deputies and various local legislatures, defending fundamental rights related to reduced-risk nicotine products. He has advised lawmakers on drafting regulatory initiatives and provides legal counsel to companies in the vaping sector across Mexico and Latin America. His work focuses on shaping strategies and public policies for proper regulation, with frequent media presence advocating for consumer rights and harm reduction.
